I had vermiculite insulation removed from my attic and the two techniques that did the work were so kind and pleasant to talk with. My son even commented on how he has never heard people working and joking around and happy doing the work they came to do. The job was done efficiently and everything was left clean. Power Vac did a great job removing some asbestos plaster during our renovations. They completely isolated the area and tore down the walls and ceiling and cleaned up inside of two days. It was very clean afterwards and I had no concerns that there was any asbestos remaining.

Norine at PowerVac was extremely responsive when I called with unexpected last-minute air duct repair needs in a tight crawl space. With the pressure of supporting other work I was having done on the house, she was able to dispatch someone to have a look next day, and do a complete repair 2 days later. I am very thankful for the fast and excellent job they have done and would absolutely recommend them. If I have more HVAC work or repair I would definitely use them again.

Norine was wonderful to work with! After having several failed attempts with other companies I found Power Vac online. We were told from other companies that we would need the asbestos lining our ducts to be removed completely before they could be cleaned which would cost us quite a large sum of money. Norine was very knowledgeable and had an option for us to clean our ducts without disturbing or exposing any of the existing asbestos in our old home. Even when the regular truck could not fit in our driveway she was quick to reschedule portable equipment for us. The two gentleman that arrived to do the work were professional and friendly. Took less time than I was expecting as well. Highly recommend this company and we will be using their services again!

I think everyone has had one too many phone calls from people wanting to clean your ducts. I knew ours needed cleaning because they had not been cleaned since we moved in several years ago. I decided to go online and check out customer comments and reviews on duct cleaning companies. I also wanted to check out how the different companies responded not only to the good but the not so good customer comments. I finally settled on Power Vac (a Hamilton franchise). One of the things I liked about Power Vac was it’s policy of never doing unwanted call-backs. And they didn’t. I called for a quote and spoke directly with the owner. Their prices were set and more than reasonable. A couple of weeks later I decided to have the ducts cleaned (no call-backs). We set up an appointment time, they showed up when they said they would and the work was done. Afterward, there was a minor problem. I called Power Vac and they quickly corrected the problem – no muss, no fuss. I don’t know about the other franchises but when we need to get our ducts cleaned again…Power Environmental/ Power Vac Services.

The service was provided quickly and on time we agreed for. Staff is very professional, fast to respond and easy to communicate with.

I stopped in on an emergency basis just to see what my next step would be (found the dressed "a" word when taking down some material). They talked me through everything and tried to sell me nothing. I can't tell you how refreshing that was. The job got done quickly and extremely professionally. I couldn't be more impressed by the Power Vac team. 10/10 would recommend.

From the initial phone call with Norine, to the trouble-shooting from John, to the remedial work from David and Adrian...the experience with every individual along the way was consistent. Courteous, professional, transparent, and knowledgeable. Norine made an awesome first impression by taking the time to walk thru different possible scenarios and solutions to our low flow issue. The same care and effort came from John on his visit to our home. He was able to isolate the potential problem. And David and Adrian finished off our very positive experience...as with Norine and John...they showed their expertise and helped us get our desired results! Very grateful for the team at Power Vac!

While there was an issue with the job done, the customer support was excellent and the company worked hard and quickly to fix the problem. It isn’t always easy to find a company that has good customer service these days. I would definitely use Power Vac again.

Staff were on time and very personable. I only wish that I could of seen the dirt from the vents.

Our dryer vent was clogged and we needed to get it fixed fast as the laundry was piling up. We called several vendors who were booked out weeks. Also only a very few specialized in dryer vents. There were a lot of HVAC duct cleaning services but they would not hook back my dryer and test it before they left. We found the services quick, came the very next day, did a professional job and cleaned up after themselves. And certainly went above and beyond than what I expected.

Professional and excellent service. It was a difficult job and they did a very professional and careful job. We would use them again.
